About us

Hotel Solara is situated on the coast road between Torre dell'Orso and Otranto next to the holiday village at Conca Specchiulla, a particularly beautiful spot along the splendid rocky coastline with its interesting craggy cliffs, sandy coves and dense Mediterranean shrub and pinewoods growing right down to the sea.

The Hotel is just 350 metres from the sea which can be reached by following the shady path through the pinewood. It is a low building surrounded by lush greenery and designed to give you a pleasant stay amidst the wonderful scenery of eastern Salento.

The style is typically Mediterranean, low and white, surrounded by the vivid colours of bougainvillaea and oleanders and the green of lawns and palm trees.

All the rooms, freshly painted white, are furnished simply but tastefully, offering every comfort: bathrooms with shower and hairdryer, air-conditioning, TV, fridge and direct line telephone. Each room opens onto a private sun patio with table, chairs and sun umbrella. Two roomed units sleeping 4 are also available for families.
